The goal of this project was to pick a book, summarize it, and then make two evaluations
1) Will this book be of interest to other students in this class and future classes?
2) Will this book integrate well with the content in this class?
The book that I chose was Mortimer J. Adler’s, and Charles Van Doren’s "How to Read a Book."

Revisions:
I chose to revise my original submission as there were numerous obvious places where it could be revised and improved. The first thing I changed was the title, as I had forgotten to change the placeholder one that I was using. My introduction remained untouched, but it was the only section other than the works cited page that remained the same after revision, with every other section undergoing at least some revisions. Large edits were made to remove statements that I found confusing on rereading, and words and sentences that could be considered fluff, and added little to the work were removed. I did this in all the sections, but Part Three had the largest amount cut out of all the sections. The seven paragraphs were cut down to one, and this made the section much more readable. On a sentence level, I fixed any general spelling, grammar, or word choice issues I found, but the most reoccurring issue was incorrect formatting of in-text citations, which I found, and fixed. These edits removed three pages of extraneous and unneeded information, improving the readability of the overall work.
