About English 167:
The course provides an introduction to the different areas of English studies including literary studies, writing studies, linguistics, and creative writing.

- Be introduced to reading, writing, and research strategies used by students in English studies
- Be introduced to theoretical and critical perspectives used in English studies
- Discover how skills and knowledge acquired in the study of English can be used in various professions
